Why Should I Vote?

It is important that you vote in every election to make sure that we have the best elected officials possible.  Our local government is especially important, even though they may receive less attention than our President, our Senators, or our Congressman.  Our local government is responsible for creating new jobs, keeping our streets paved, maintain our parks and public spaces, as well as funding local programs.  With all these important decisions it is crucial that we have people in office that we can trust.  You can do that by exercising your right to vote.
