
Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States of America. He worked his way through school and then moved to Chicago, where he worked as a community organizer, helping to rebuild communities that had been destroyed by the closing of the local steel mills. He then returned to school and earned his law degree from Harvard University. He was later elected to serve as a State Senator for Illinois, and later was elected to serve in the U.S. Senate.
President Obama is dedicated to working towards health insurance reform, creating green collar jobs here in the U.S., and insuring that the U.S. economy continues to recover.

Bayh was born in Shirkieville, Indiana. He graduated with honors in business economics from Indiana University in 1978, and received his law degree from the University of Virginia in 1981. After clerking for a federal court judge and entering private law practice in Indianapolis, he was elected Indiana's Secretary of State in 1986, and was later elected to be the Governor of Indiana, before being elected to the U.S. Senate.
U.S. Senator Evan Bayh is focused on providing hardworking Hoosier families with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed. He is focused on stimulating the economy by creating jobs and growing small businesses to his fight to keep a college education within the reach of all Hoosiers. His commitment to making real progress instead of participating in political showdowns has set Bayh apart as a leader on a wide range of important issues facing the nation.

First elected to the State Senate in November of 2006, Errington has a long record of public service. She has served on the Delaware County Council, the Mayor's Affirmative Action Task Force, the Mayor's Advisory Committee on Health Education, the City-County Commission Against Domestic Violence, the Delaware County Community Corrections Board and the Muncie Housing Authority.
In the State Senate, Errington is a leading proponent of adequately funding Indiana's schools, making college more affordable and making health care more accessible and affordable for all Hoosiers.
Errington lives in Muncie with her husband Paul, a retired Ball State physics professor. Together, they have raised two daughters, Sara and Amy

State Representative Dennis Tyler was sworn into office on Jan. 4, 2006; he was chosen to fill the vacancy following the death of R. "Tiny" Adams. Dennis represents the citizens of Indiana House District 34 at the Statehouse in downtown Indianapolis when the State Legislature—the General Assembly—is in session.
Before serving as our State Representative, Dennis Tyler retired from being a Line Captain with the Muncie Fire Department where he served 42 1/2 years.
Dennis and his wife, Vickie, are the parents of three children: Amy, Dennis Lee and Mary Lou.
Dennis is dedicated to fight for the citizens of Delaware County, and is focused on creating stable, good-paying jobs, fair, predictable property taxes, and improving the quality of life for all Hoosiers.
